Pepper - Chichimeca (Hybrid Jalapeno Pepper)
Description:
These gigantic, thick-walled fruits are over 4" in length by nearly 2" wide at the shoulders - ideal for stuffing, but also a crowd pleaser in salsas, salads, vegetable dishes and when pickled. Mildly pungent fruits mature green to red, averaging 1-1/4 ounces, with a Scoville rating of 5,000 to 6,000 units. Plants grow 28 to 32" tall and can be picked earlier than similar varieties.
