Description:
Grow your own artichokes and enjoy the large, edible flower buds at their prime! Imperial Star bears lots of sweet, mild artichokes from mid-Summer through Fall. The round, 4.5-in. (11-cm) “chokes” are thornless so they’re easy to harvest, and slow to spread open when mature so you don’t have to pick the entire crop at once. The attractive grey/green-foliaged plants grow 4 ft. (1.2 m) tall and wide, so give each plant plenty of elbow room! 95 days to harvest.
